At Marshall Road State School, we are committed to providing a wide range of extracurricular activities in the pursuit of academic, sporting and cultural excellence.
This includes camps, incursions/excursion, interschool sport, choir, instrumental music, lunch clubs, Tangalooma EcoMarines program and Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, as well as after school facility hirer options.
Tangalooma EcoMarines program
Marshall Road State School is a Tangalooma EcoMarines school. The Tangalooma EcoMarines program is an inspiring student-led program that promotes awareness of the environmental and cultural value of our local area. Through leadership and peer education, our EcoMarines Ambassadors work together to protect our waterways and natural habitats, fostering a sense of responsibility and hope for a sustainable future. This program encourages students to lead by example, making a positive impact on their community and environment. Our EcoMarine Ambassadors are elected through a year 4 student leadership process conducted in Term 4 for the following year implementation.
After-School Facility Hire
Our school facilities are available for hire by a variety of after-school extracurricular groups and community organisations.
