The P&C at Marshall Road State School no longer sells books or stationery in person.

See booklists for information about booklists and how to order.  Orders can be placed at any time of the year.

Please note that the Student Resource Scheme (SRS) is used for the purpose of stationery suppplies for students. You will be asked to opt in or out of this scheme at the start of your enrolment and if you opt in will then be invoiced for your childs required supplies.

In 2023, Marshall Road State School will continue to operate a Student Resource Scheme (SRS).

The objective of the scheme is to provide a convenient and cost-effective way for students to access the educational resources necessary to enhance their learning experience at school.  The SRS is supported and approved by the Marshall Road State School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) on an annual basis.

In 2023 the SRS cost will be $180 per student, a reduction of $10 compared to the previous year.

The SRS will supply your child with:

·       All stationery required as per their year level booklist

·       Online registration to Reading Eggs/Reading Express and Mathletics (or Mathseeds for Prep)

·       Cooking supplies for our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

·       Management of the scheme

What is not included in the SRS:

·       Activities that attract a separate levy for participating students including Instrumental Music, Interschool Sport, Year level camps, and any excursions, incursions and emergent opportunities that may arise throughout the year.  These invoices are raised throughout the year as the opportunities become available.

What you need to do?

Families who signed the SRS participation agreement form in 2022 are no longer required to complete another form on an annual basis to renew participation.  The only time a form needs to be completed is for:

·       a new enrolment or

·       if you wish to change your participation status for SRS.

You do not need to advise the school if there is no change to your current participation.

Families with Prep students commencing in 2023 have been emailed separately.

For families who choose not to take part in the SRS, year level book lists are available from the school office upon request.

If you have any further questions, please contact the office at admin@marshallroadss.eq.edu.au

A small number of book packs may be available for students starting at Marshall Road State School during the school year. Please contact us for more information.
