Our school is active and participates in a range of activities in the local community.

ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day

Anzac Day ceremonyMarshall Road students observe ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day with school services conducted by senior students.  Student participation is important and representatives from every class lay a wreath while the school band or choir provide musical backing.

In association with these events, the student councillors sell ANZAC badges or Remembrance Day poppies on behalf of the RSL.

Each year, the Holland Park / Mt Gravatt Combined RSL invite Marshall Road students to participate in the local ANZAC Day march and ceremony. About 60 of our students march each year and the school captains represent the school by laying a wreath at the base of the Holland Park RSL memorial.
