Parents and teachers wishing to contact each other should make a mutually agreeable time before or after school to do so.
Interviews and reports supplement regular information contacts between parents and teachers.
Parent-teacher interviews
Parent-teacher face-to-face interviews are conducted at the end of Term 1 and Term 3. Letters will be sent home towards the end of term containing information. Parent Teacher interviews are scheduled for 10 minutes per meeting and will be held in the PAC. The first interview begins at 3:20pm and the last meeting will conclude at 6.00pm. To coordinate the interviews and assist parents in securing their preferred times, we are utilising the School Online Booking System.
Written reports
Written student reports are issued at the end of Terms 2 and 4, with the opportunity for the parent or teacher to request an interview to discuss your child's progress or behaviour. These reports are generally emailed home (be sure you have updated your email address and check your junk folders).
Forwarding messages to students
Considerable disruption to the learning of all students occurs when a lesson is interrupted and the teacher is required to answer the phone to pass on messages to a student. Because of this, we ask parents to contact the office to communicate messages regarding emergencies or changes to plans which may have occurred since the beginning of the school day.
