It is with great pride and warmth that I welcome you to Marshall Road State School—an inclusive, vibrant, and nurturing learning community located on 3.4 hectares of Yuggera land in the heart of Holland Park West. Since 1960, our school has proudly served generations of families, fostering a strong tradition of academic, cultural, sporting, and community excellence and we continue to be a hidden gem in this community.

We proudly deliver the Australian Curriculum, including Japanese, and our inclusive practices ensure that every learner is supported to achieve their personal best. Our dedicated Inclusion Team—including our Head of Special Education Services, and Inclusion Teachers—work closely with classroom teachers to ensure learning experiences are differentiated, engaging, and accessible for all.
Our committed and passionate staff bring a depth of professional knowledge and a deep sense of care to their work. They are united by a shared goal: to see every child flourish. In 2025, our focus on engagement through pedagogy will ensure that teaching is not only academically rigorous and age-appropriate, but also deeply connected to the lived experiences of our students.
We are also fortunate to have an active and supportive Parents and Citizens Association that partners with us to enrich the life of the school. Their ongoing advocacy and generosity enhance the learning environment and help us bring our shared vision to life.
